Metalite Industries Inc. has been building quality products for America since 1910. It began as the Cheney Weeder Company. With the patent for the rod weeder, it began as a small manufacturer building this revolutionary product that changed the way the American farmer grew his crops. It was the first soil conserving farm implement used, years ahead of its time. Although the rod weeder is now only rarely used today, Metalite continues to produce products that are well ahead of its competition. Although still a small business, we now produce a wide variety of products, not just farm implements

The company is currently under the direction of only its third owner in a 94 year span. As a disabled veteran owned small business, it has continued to develop and produce unique quality products for use by both the general public and the US Government. It received the Tibbetts Award for excellence from the US Small Business Association in the first year of the award for its work on products for individuals with disabilities.

Metalite Industries continues to place quality and customer satisfaction atop everything else. Through constant feed back from our customers, the improvements they demand are integrated into all of our products. This open communication with our customers has allowed Metalite to stay ahead of its competition and to continue to develop and produce the quality products that are expected from us.
